"Glenn Hudson has a history of sound financial management
When Glenn Hudson was Chief of Peguis in 2007, the deficit was $40 Million, $26 Million that was reported on the audit and one time advance agreement of $14 Million from INAC. Glenn Hudson introduced sound financial management during his administration of Peguis. By the end of 2014-15 fiscal year, Glenn had reduced the debt to $12.8 Million. After only two years of Cindy Spence as Chief, the Peguis debt has grown to $31.2 Million. Today, due to financial mis-management, Peguis First Nation has been forced into default management by INAC and has to hire a Recipient-Appointed Advisor (Co-Manager). How many Hundreds of Thousands of dollars is this going to cost our Band?"
